Favorite: Post Searing (I love the look of the war torn country)
Hated: Pre Searing (God Damn how can one place be sooooo green also in my opinion the charr did ascalon a favor)

Factions
Favorite: Shing Jea monastery. (Totally relaxed and calm and AWESOME)
Hated: Kaijen city (I think that’s what it's called I can't remember) (Because of urban slums and total wasteland kind of makes me feel cramped and claustrophobic)

Nightfall
Favorite: Kamadan (I love the Egyptian theme and I have always been into Egyptian architecture)
Hated: None really (Nightfall is a really pretty game)

Favorite: Beacon's Perch or Gates of Kryta (nice views from both)
Hated: Sardelac Sanitarium (zzzz... way too small and uninteresting)

Favorite: Kaineng Center (love that harbor)
Hated: Tahnakai Temple (sewage?)

Nightfall
Favorite: Pogahn Passage & Kodash Bazaar (cool moon and grand palace-like environment)
Hated: Mouth of Torment (neon ftl)

Eye of the North
Favorite: Vlox's Falls (beautiful waterfall)
Hated: Boreal Station (boring)

Best: All Kurzick outposts.. I really love the forest
Hate: Those Luxon outposts (no shit), it's like you are just in a normal area with monsters and things instead of a outpost.

Best, hmm. Magumma Stade, but lack NPCs make it useless. Lion's Arch, full NPCs good layout. Droknar's Forge, same reasons as LA +max armor. Denravi, cept STUPID vault location.

Worst, wow! rest?! NAH, grotto, slow down in town is dumb. Citadel, stupid storage location. VASBURG! WORST OUTPOST EVER!

Tyria
Best: Denravi. Big, naturey, some nice extra areas too like the lake and the stage.
Worst: Ember Light Camp. Dark, bad first impression of the RoF, ugly lava (of course this was when ANet wasn't as graphically skilled), murky water which is fitting yet not fitting.

Cantha
Best: House zu Heltzer. Dark and tranquil, also very nice and cozy since it's essentially a giant cathedral.
Worst: Kaineng Center. Nice design, but it's a pain having to climb a ten flights of stairs to reach a certain NPC. Just laggy from all the Z-axis positioning of DOOM! Though from a technical standpoint, I kind of like the Z-axis positioning of DOOM!

Elona
Best: Sunspear Great Hall for the architecture and company. Kodash Bazaar for the epic detail. Dajkah Inlet for a peaceful seaside area.
Worst: Gate of Pain. Should be named Gate of Colons. Very freakish stomach world, giant pulsating growths blocking my view, evil fluid sacs obstructing my attacks. So happy when you reach the non-intestinal part of the mission.

Eye of the North
Best: Longeye's Ledge. Nice overlook of the Charr homelands.
Worst: Central Transfer Chamber. All dark and ugly - despite being master architects, most of the Asuran structures aren't even square to the walls (yay for nerdy injokes). When I first heard about this outpost, I thought it'd be like this epic underground temple.

I dislike all those where spawn points, xunlai chest, merchant are in inconvenient and far places.

Ever get stuck behind Lonai while auto-running to the Xunlai Chest in Sunspear Sanctuary?

Gate of Torment's Xunlai and merchant location tops the dislike list.

I also dislike the three port cities for their crowd. Try to spend as little time there as possible.

I like the quiet out of the way towns, but don't spend enough time there.

Prophecies:
Love: Fisherman's Haven. Absolutely the best outpost. (though I love a lot of outposts, such as Henge of Denravi, the outpost near Thirsty River, Yak's Bend)
Hate: I'd have to say Marhan's Grotto because of the slowdown and Granite Citadel because of the crappy Xunlai location.

Factions:
Love: Shing Jea Monastery. Again I love many outposts here, like Cavalon, that little upper-right outpost above Gyala, Marketplace...
Hate: Vasburg armory. reason: storage location.

Nightfall:
Love: everything on Istan
Hate: everything in the DoA

EotN:
Love: Gadd's Encampment. great waterfall + bridge
Hate: nothing really, but the Vloxen Excavations outpost sn't much. (Not Vlox's Falls)

My favorite region is Kryta, nothing in the game has surprised and made me happy as seeing Kryta after the desert of Ascalon and snow of the Shiverpeaks. So I guess my fav outposts would be Gates of Kryta and Bergen Hot Springs. I also like Denravi and Tarnished Haven. Other than outposts I guess my favorite location (or sight to be more precise) is the floating fortress west of Kessex Peak. The temples of Balth in The Falls and of Grenth on the Droks run are also very nice. Jade sea overall is also pretty (I like shiny objects). Another awesome sight is the dragon lighthouse on the west side of Penjiang Peninsula. Corsair vessels docked in hidden outlets in southern Lahtenda Bog is kinda atmospheric too.

The biggest dislike is the cardboard ... ahem ... Kaineng City.

Almost forgot about the great stone bridge in Riven Earth with floating stones around it. Awesome stuff

Favorite:Ascalon City(pre-searing), I love me some Ascalon Guard/Charr fighting.
Hate the most: Kaineng City, everything is just way too spread out.

Prophecies:
Like: Fisherman's Haven. It's so out of the way and calm. It sits right on a nice little beach.
Dislike: Anything in Ascalon Post-Searing. The sight of everything being scarred and burned is horrible.

Factions:
Like: Bai Paasu Reach. Again, so out of the way and calm.
Dislike: Defnitely Vasburg just because of the layout of it and the pain-in-the-ass of storage.

Nightfall:
Like: Mihanu Township. Once more, just out of the way and really tranquil.
Dislike: Anything in Desolation or RoT. I hate RoT just cause of the disgusting feeling the scenery provokes. Kudos to the map-devs/designers for actually creating areas that really inspire feeling.

EotN:
Like: Hard to say, I like a lot of them. I'd probably go with Gadd's Encampent. It's actually kinda crowded, being a main quest point of the story, but it's environmental surroundings are so beautiful.
Dislike: I'd have to say Doomlore Shrine, just cause of the huge pool that I always have to walk around to get into Dalada Uplands.

Overall favorite: Fisherman's Haven. Can't go wrong with a secluded outpost in Prophecies. The environment looks were at their best in Prophecies.

Overall least-liked: Desolation/RoT outposts. I hated being there, and never want to go there again.
